Unidentified (derelict) tank - Afghanistan

Well, I've joined this forum mostly to help me figure out potential problems with a CUCV, but these pictures have had me stumped for a while now so I thought I'd put them up here and see if anyone knows what this is.

I think that it's a T-34...

That's the T-34 Model 40/L Too bad they are rare now. The 76/B and the Model 85 are more common.
