Unused Wire

There is an "extra" wire coming from the harness that goes to the right rear tail light assembly on my M925A2. What's it for? It terminates close to the light assembly with a female connector.

Is it the wire that’s supposed to go to the RR marker light?
All your lights working?
A pic would be great.

My M925A2 doesn’t have an extra wire at that location.
My Truck-Lite LED taillights do have an extra ground wire, but that’s on the light assembly, not the truck.

There is a little aluminum tag(band) on it. It has the wire number on it.

Brush it off gently(not with a wire brush).

I often just use a little spit on my fingertip to clean them enough to read it.
