Upcoming downtime

Yeah yeah yeah, I know I know..... We've had a few lately.

I need to upgrade the forum software again. All the other downtimes have been server/OS related. I'm going to try to do it this weekend if possible. I've been working on a few things in prep for it. This is will not be a release level upgrade. So there's not much change (if anything) to how the forum works to end users. Nor will there be any aesthetic changes. I'm "doing homework" right now to see if any functionality we have in place might be affected by the upgrade. (Some of the tweaks we have here are not things the forum software does out of the box) Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on it. If everything goes smoothly, it should only take a few hours.

If it is only going to take a few hours, can you try and do it between 2:00 and 4:00 AM Sunday morning?

So last weekend completely screwed up my plans with the unexpected downtime we had. That said, I am planning on doing this upgrade Saturday morning. I know it's probably not the best time for everyone. But it's the first opening I'll have this week.
