Looks good, Noticed that you got the poll background colors fixed, and looks like ya'll toned the red color font down some. It was so bright it was hard to read.
Thanks

As an old guy I hate change, but this seems to be a good one. It took a little while to figure it out and now I find I can get around quite well. Thanks for putting in the time to keep this a first rate site!

Hey Patracy,

I do have a few questions regarding uploading attachments.

* Is there anyway to increase the size of the thumbnails?

* I have "My Pictures" organized into folders on my hard drive which the old version of V Bulletin would show. This new version only shows files and not files within folders so is there any way that you could include folders? I know that I could remove the files from the folders and upload them but that would be a lot of work and then they would not be organized. This would make it exceedingly difficult to find the necessary pics that I wanted to attach to my posts for I have many image files.

I want to go on record as expressing my thanks for all of your hard work and to the Administrator for reaching into his pocket for all of the rank and file here.

I do kind of miss being able to see my own avatar and personal info on the side though.
Not sure I follow you. Your avatar is in every post unless you have avatars turned off?

Change is the only constant.

I've increased the thumbnail size from 160 to 200. It will take some time for the database to rebuild all the thumbnails.

The new upload is driven by windows, so that's probably a setting on how you have things configured on your PC. In the folder view, you should have a drop down to change the view type. You'll want Tiles to have the "thumbnail" preview of folders. If it's set to details, you'll only see the folder/file names.

I thought of that and have changed my Tiles to "Thumbnail" preview of folders. The request was to increase thumbnails in the attachment files which is uploaded from my hard drive not the avatar.

He meant on the old forum your avatar and post count and the last time your were on was in a box always on the left side. I miss it to.
Ahh ok now I remember. That was more content from CMPS, which will unfortunately not return. Not sure what the gain would be of that though honestly? Your postcount is in every post.

I can't say I like all the changes but I ain't the one paying the bills around here. It'll just take some getting use to and I'd like to give big thanks to the guys/gals that were involved. It takes a lot to do what they did like it or not. So let's get back to what we all love and that's Green Iron!!!! :driver:

It is not the end of the world and I understand how something can limp along just hanging in there. Most of our group is older, like it or not we are stuck in our ways and really do not do well with change. But we are relying on Patracy to keep this wheezy old battle wagon going, I believe the previous version was probably at the end of its ability to progress further along and a new base system was needed to be able to maintain the group within the ever changing internet........I for one understand that it has only been a few days and I can literally see the head way that Patracy is making. We are all use to adversity, look at the hobby we have, we keep beat up old trucks and equipment going! And this is made possible because someone in the background is keeping this system functioning!.......If anyone leaves now, they are doing themselves an injustice, just my two cents:popcorn:

Thanks to everyone involved.....................

I can't follow the new threads like I used to, Now I can only see an ongoing stream which is useless to me and the bar on the left which shows very little. Am I missing something? I understand change but I don't live on here and have very limited time to spend here so I really do not have a lot of time to go through a whole complete relearn. And it wants me to pay up for another year, I don't have a problem with that as long as I can use it. I do belong to a half dozen other forums I pay into. Unless I can glance through 50 or 60 of the most recent postings like before then it is not worth it to me because I am spending my whole time trying to navigate. Not complaining, just posting my observations.

You're welcome. Thanks also need to go out to everyone who has signed up for premium membership over the last year because a lot of that money went to pay for this upgrade and some more cool things to come.

Subscribe to threads that interest you.

The old CMPS page is gone. It is not coming back.
