Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Another semi trailer. It had been pulled in next to a building years ago. Had to maneuver around a very tight corner to hook on to it! I'm seriously thinking about adding power steering after that 17 point turn, cause my arms were sore for a week! Finally got hooked on to it and moved it out in the open.
Builds character!cause my arms were sore for a week!
And chiropractor bills!Builds character!
Thanks! I love the truck and get tons of use out of it!. Another member on here built it years ago, and later sold it. It got passed around to a couple other members before I bought it.M37M35 - You have one heck of a nice truck. I’m enjoying the pictures!
It had the flatbed on it when I bought it, but I needed to be able to move semi trailers around. I found the 5th wheel plate and drilled the holes for it, so I can just swap whichever one I need with the crane. It's just a matter of unbolting one and bolting the other on. Takes less than an hour to switch back and forth.M37M35 - Nice truck!
I see that you have a 5th wheel in some of the pics and a flatbed in others, did you change it at some point?
The knuckle boom/ 5th wheel is the other combo I'm wanting in the future.
The passenger side outrigger is down, hidden by the wall. That last shot, it's a pretty good "stretch":
- Did you make that pick without needing any outriggers, or am I just not seeing them ?
Dang, M37M35, that is one hard-working rig!
Haha, yeah she gets a break now and then! She's actually down for maintenance right now, since this virus has given me some extra time to work on projects, and post pictures!Dang, M37M35, that is one hard-working rig!
Do you ever give her a day off?!!!
