PM Bkubu. I believe he has A/C in his M925A2.

Yes, I have AC in my M925A2. It is basically the stock RED DOT set up, except the plenum has been modified because I did not want to lose the passenger seat. It is sweet. Even on the hottest days, and with a soft top, I have to turn it down because it gets so cold. I have posted pics previously, but I don't have them here or else I'd post them again.

I have read that if you put in an a/c you will have to remove the heater. Have any of you guys had to remove the heater? I would like to have a heater and an a/c. How did you guys work around this?

Well we made it home with the M934 with the A/C installed in the cab, and it works!! Yea!!!
I tried to some how the compressor is mounted. It looks like it mount to the top of the Air
Compressor on the motor.
If you need any more pics just let me know.

Looks nice! Can you get pictures of the A/C compressor from underneath? There must be a 2nd mount that is used to put tension on the belts and hold it in place.

goldneagle, I can not get a good shot from underneath. The belt tension comes form the power steering pump mount.
Also the a/c compressor mount is moon shaped and bolts to the side of the compressor.
I will try to get a shot for you.

By your pictures it looks like the compressor is held on by one front mounting bolt in the front ear and then a long bolt through the double ear with a spacer? The bracket is all one piece?

The evap, switches, and blower are all in the center console?

Wow, I am excited as this looks doable if you can get that center console and comp bracket. The comp , condenser are all probably stock red dot components that are probably available commercially and I suspect the same for the blower and evap.

Thanks for sharing!

Here are more pics of the mount form the under side and from the back.
Looks like it mounts to the motor with three bolts and the compressor has two bolts.

Yes the evap, switches, and blower are all in the center console.
Hope this helps a little.

Now all I have to do is actually start this project. I will try to get the compressor mounted soon as I think it will be the most difficult to do. This is going to be a fun project!

Most people on this site get it... the rest of the world really does not... they lose! and we have more toys to play with. One of my friends, when he saw my fire truck and after going on a ride, his remark was, why did you get it? If after seeing it, messing with it, and riding in it, he did not get it, he never will. He then asked if I was going to sell it? Maybe he did get it after all.

It is always fun to work on MV's, Right? Good luck with your install.

So true!!!! I get asked all the time "what do you use it for", "how much did it cost", "that truck is yours", etc.
