The following video is a compilation of traffic cam recordings of People Running RED LIGHTS.

It is not specifically MV related, but it IS a SAFETY topic.

Please pay particular attention to the larger vehicles (comparable to a Deuce) and how they behave in the radical maneuvers called "EVASIVE ACTION"

The Laws of Physics never fail us....

"A body at rest will remain at rest until some outside force acts upon it."
and conversely....
"A body in motion will remain in motion until some outside force acts upon it."

Don't let that stop you! Drive and have fun, swivel neck is a beneficial condition. There I was, stopped on Pershing Ave..minding my own business when wham! Toyota climes under my pickup. How do you miss a dually Chevy? Still drive the truck (they fixed irt for me), not stopping driving.

I can't tell you how many accidents I have avoided by making sure everyone is going to stop. I had a real close call with someone in my Unimog. Was doing about 45 and saw a Honda Civic was completely oblivious to their red light, I hit the brakes hard and they passed about 10 feet in front of my truck. They should be happy I keep my brakes in good shape. :!:

Digusting.......unexcusable operating.....defintley cannot be called driving.

Ever see people texting and driving????.....it makes drunk driving while talking on a cell phone look good.

I think texting and driving should carry a mimium 30 day license suspension.

Back when I drove a band around in a old school bus I had to do the same thing. Came over a hill on the interstate and had a semi stopped in my lane with nothing in front of him. It was snow covered also. I never heard 16 people get that quiet as when I set the bus sideways sliding around that truck. Got a standing ovation once we where clear.

:shock:You would be amazed how many peckerwoods can't seem to see a 9'x9'x 23' truck in broad daylight on a sunny day stopped in front of them or passing legally across an intersection.... Even having headlights and taillights on seems not to help....:!:
Next step will be either the amber convoy beacon or strobe light on mast(s) behind cab.....

I gotta love Wreckerman's comments, unfortunately, the Law of Mechanical Darwinism is losing ground against an upward progressing moronic birthrate curve....aua
