anyone have any luck with matching paint colors on soviet, warsaw pact vehicles?

Depending upon the specific country and location, as well as time period, there must be over 100 different colors/shapes. They were not uniformed. But to get paint, all you need is a sample swatch and your local Sherwin-Williams stores. Just use a good primer and industrial enamel. Its easy.

Short of comparing them with an FS595b Color Fan Deck, you might have some luck going to www.colorserver.net
Remember though that any computer monitor may slightly alter a sample depending on it's color settings.
