Weather was nice so i took the top off for the first time and cruised to the beach. Storm rolled in forcing me to put it back on but after being cloudy in the morning it warmed back up and the sun came back out. It was an awesome weekend, got a ton of looks and had a ton of fun! For those of you interested, the deuce did GREAT on the sand. Tire pressure was 35, and I didn't need the front axle(although i kept it engaged because it made steering 10x easier)

note the exploder that exploded!

Looks like a blast!!! Thanks for the pics on the sand. That gives me a lot of relief.... I have always wanted to take my deuce on the sand... But was... Well, SCARED!

We take our 4x4 play toys out on the Platte River sand bars, and they don't have any prolbem.... But something about a rig over 13,000 LBS on sand.

fun in the sun + M109

Hey she is out of uniform.
Doesn't that occasion require a two piece BDU swim suit?

Good pics. Great to have a clean beach in which to drive on and enjoy the day.

yeh to anybody that is worried, don't be worried. The only downside is that in the softer sand it gets a little bogged down and low range 3rd gear is about all I could get out of her. But if you're not trying for speed it's not a problem, they do great.

top off? I dont see it
yeh i didn't get too many pictures with the top fully off. It started to rain so i had to put it back on for the rest of the weekend.
I also got my first driving in rain expierence, and learned that 1)driver side wiper doesn't work and 2) wipers don't make much of a difference when there's water on the inside as well. The drive home was 20-30 min in a downpour with traffic....at times i could only see the white lines.

I have more pics but i am waiting to get them from my friends camera

I know what you mean about the downpour. I just recovered a deuce this morning and it rained for the better part of the trip. So out of the 3 hour trip, it probably rained a good 2.5 hours...no joke. I had a stream of water coming in from the wiper shaft right smack dab in the middle of the inside windshield. Luckily I had a rag to keep wiping her so I could see:wink:
