Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
when I tried the 114 inch belt it took an insane amount of effort to put on with the tensioner fully relieved. I'm not sure if that's normal or not.For reference I have a m1097a2 with the 6.5lWelcome to the SS forum!!

Serpentine belt for 1165-A1?
Howdy folks! Do you know which serpentine belt is used on the 1165A1 with 6.5L turbo and 400A generator? I've dug through every TM I can find and can't find a definitive answer for trucks with a serial number over 300,000 (mine is 313,7xx). I found an older TM that specifies a belt for trucks...www.steelsoldiers.com
200a generator and the number is 215xxxNot sure what to say, RWH should be along, he has more experience than anyone with what belt fits what.
Meanwhile is that a 400A or a 200A and what is your serial number, you can X out the last three.
The number on the belt read out 8pk2855 I bought it off of federal military partsAlso what are the part numbers of the belts you have tried.
It went on but it took more force than it needed. I had to use a flat head for leverage. I ended up taking it off becuase I don’t wanna ruin my pulley bearings with such a tight beltDid it go on? Just really hard to do?
I’ll try these I’ll have to order them but I’ll let you know if they do fit or not.Try the next size bigger 8pk2910 or dayco 5081145. if that seem too loose then put the smaller one back on.
Yeah I tried that belt and it fit snug no problem.I guess the federal military parts belt advertises for 114 but in reality it’s a 112. Thanks a lot for the help I really appreciate it.Try the next size bigger 8pk2910 or dayco 5081145. if that seem too loose then put the smaller one back on.
