What could we feed our trucks when in a life/death situation?

Fuel this stock pile that but when it all come down to it you need food stock SEEDS and a strong back. A horse and plow would be your better bet.

Already got heirloom seeds and the wife has a pretty strong back

Without laws, you must have a compound to keep out the scavengers. You also need protection. Best bet would be a mix of hunter-gatherer and farmer, this all requires team work.
