Bungee cord is a convenience for sure, but just remember your eyes when working around them.View attachment 559854Removed the ropes from the rear of the M105. Replaced them with bungee balls. A lot easier to work with on a regular basis.
Where did you get dual voltage alternato and how does that work?Dual voltage alternator installed. I have more info and pics in my crew cab build.
I agree to heed caution. Used 'em for years tarping loads, never had a problem. I usually treat things that can hurt me with respect.Bungee cord is a convenience for sure, but just remember your eyes when working around them.
I read an article in some medical journal once about eye injuries related to bungee cords, and decided right there to seriously weigh their risk against their benefit. There are lots of alternatives. The author of the article (a surgical M.D.), advised "Just say NO".
It's easy to do something careless and then you got a serious problem on your hands (blindness just isn't any fun), that you don't need, or want. That's all.
Your truck looks really good with that new top on it.
That actually looks ok on there, IMHO. I kinda like it.Had one of these lying around and thought with the streamline nature it would add another 3-5mph on the top end.

I don't know what that "thing" is but I would say that's no plate holder but a mount point for winch cable rollers/guides.I agree with jbayer, that front end looks good:
- What's that feature on there below and to the left of the plate-holder?
(It's funny: I didn't notice the Llama in the picture until I was marking it up ).
