painted my fuel tank

Looks like new!

What did you do for the prep?

Nothing special, a sander and abrasive fabric.
1st layer with white primer, 2nd MERDC sand.

Just a reminder that while your fuel tank is out, now is a good time to replace your fuel tank rub strip. Goes between the fuel tank and the fuel tank supports.

What's the story with the funky paint job on the deck?

its called lots of extra paint left and needed to paint it before the rust set in after I removed the mill scale lol, it is ALL scratched up on the top now , and needin new paint when it gets warm enough, I probably have 40 hours of welding and fab in it works great , tows great , use it to haul one of my M 561 Gama goats .

and to load I lower the tongue to the ground and drive on, pull as far back as I can and then jack it up and connect

Made some cup holders for the Deuce couple days ago. I have some strong magnets I pulled out of a BMW electric water pump holding it down on the floor.

Bought one of these cup holders from "Those Military Guys" and found that the original magnets on the back, limit hanging the cup holder on the sides of the cab interior where it's always in the way. So one circular magnet bolted to the bottom allows mounting the cup holder out of the way on the transmission tunnel.

I finally got some new shoes for my truck.

The truck looks good. Does it ride squirrelly at all?

My first impressions are that steering takes a lot more effort. The ride on a semi smooth highway is fine, but when things get bumpy it gets really bouncy. It's not as harsh of a bump, but it sure feels a lot bigger. I also notice it tends to wander when the highway gets rutted. I don't regret the change, but it does make the truck a little less friendly.
I suppose now I can sell my all my old wheels and tires.

fabbed and installed a tow bar bracket for the front bumper, Used 4 inch u channel as the base material. oversized the holes in the two brackets to allow the tow bar halfs to slide in. Clamp half on the passengers side holds it all secure, allows for quick deployment and handy location , next I will stretch the frame and bring the bumber out 3 feet and add an 18 k winch with a genset and fuel xfer storage on the space between the bumper and the grill ( when the SNOW leaves)
