What did you do to your deuce this week?

I did....not sure if it was enough. The radials demand 120 PSI and I ran them at 60.

Not sure that 60# would have worked with no weight in the back and with the back end up in the air. Sometimes that stuff just seems to happen because of where you needed to be... The CTIS book says that Mud and Snow setting would be 25# and "Emergency" pressure could be 12psi.

Drive back out there and get stuck again to test that theory?

I'll get right on that! I am still medicating for the poison ivy rashes I got after crawling around in that greenery! As always....my fault. It started as "While I am out here, I 'll quickly do THAT"......and so it goes.

Been driving it around casually here and there. Took it to a car show and got a lot of looks like what are you doing here with that.... Hauled a load of scrap. Hauled a load of fertilizer (Loader guy was grinning a lot...)

There wasn’t one!!! The previous owner put in larger batteries; which didn’t fit. So instead of the correct batteries, he just took the plastic box out, and bungee’d the batteries down HAHA. The side step on the metal box was all bent up, and the mounts were tweaked so it didn’t sit the straightest to the cab.

So I put on a “newer” metal box, and put the plastic box back in.

It was sketchy to say the least. He beat the truck up; he didn’t care one bit…unfortunately

And these are guys I know... Classics are still big around here but slowly Ricers are making an in-road. I appreciate all types. I felt bad as a young guy had a pretty darn stock Honda CRX there and he got the cold shoulder.
Maybe me driving over the curb thru an empty lot to park in the grass threw them off

I’ll need to get pics but… all new lights (no led), new 8” round side mirrors, few packard interlocks, lighted license plate holder, new fuel sending unit.

First I removed the starter then I cleaned the brushes and then I went for ride to clean the undercarriage.

Got the support bracket shortened so that the intake pipe and the exhaust pipe are parallel so I went ahead and installed the Donaldson Air Ram. Had to lower the bracket some to allow the snorkel to sit down on the pipe correctly for drainage. Still need a couple of shots of high temp black to touch up the exhaust pipe where the bracket sat before the install.
