What do you all think about this unit for a spin on fuel filter???

cold weather as water freezes turns pulls the diesel around changes to wax lower temp cause it to gel.. when you buy filters look filter media is treated to extract water.. unfortunately most filter of this type stops around 15 to 10 microns hence primary and secondery filters.. what nice about the fm 100 series, is that they are one can get filter and base for under 20 bucks.. it dose get ridiculous, when buying the some option.. but thanks to stanadyne has sold out to china firm , the price should drop.. seem every manufacture use filter. also remember to size filter for the engine..

Yes that's the one I ran across,and couldn't find again,I think the fact. box style filter is 10 micron,I just wanted smaller micron filter as my 1009 sat for 8 years un run so Im sure there is garbage in tank.Im getting a lot of rust in my pre filter which is a 10 micron.Im getting ready to install new 31 gal. tank and new fuel lines so 10 micron before lift pump and 3 micron on firewall should work out well.
