Furniture, very classy. I'll never reach that level of detail.

Kart is a riot. 1" off the ground, 55mph feels like 155mph. Handling is as responsive as your stomach and brain fluid can withstand if the tires are fresh, that is the fun part. Seat wraps around you completely so you become one with it. That is where the real fun is. It is an old Italian Birel frame, used to have a 5 speed 250cc 2 stroke liquid cooled dirt bike engine on it, has front and rear disc brakes. I bought the rolling chassis for $100. With the dirt bike engine as a true shifter, it is one of the only things that can do 0mph-100mph-0mph in 10 seconds flat. Indy car racers use them to keep their skills sharpened. I just paint it flat black and ride it down our bike trails with a big muffler on it at 3am with night vision goggles on. A total riot, and not hurting anybody. That's why I went 4 stroke with it, so it is quiet and non-disturbing. Lost a lot of speed, but now able to ride it..... This larger replacement Honda will get sprayed flat black also once done. Makes it ugly, but also makes it invisible. They run like a top.

Jeep looks killer. LS power, hydro brakes, and factory OEM mass production vented disc rear 2 piston calipers in the back, somebody has good taste in hardware.

I dont do pretty, I build things to do what I need at the moment.
Nice work!

Pretty is for folk with time on their hands, and nothing wrong with that.

But all that REALLY matters is when you got a problem is, "Does it do the job?"

I just posted something the other day about the Russian T-34 tank (WWII) which relates here. There was a vid. Can't find the darn thing. Great story.

Oh, WELL. The End

Ok, something else I built. This little trailer is so I dont have to pick this generator up everytime I need to move it. And yes I can pick up one end and pull it on a shop cart or the pickup.
It looks like you thought through the whole center-of-gravity/ balance problem. Nice looking item!

I built this from grain bins and drill stem pipe all off grid which means if the sun was shining I was welding, if not I was running basic tools to not deplete the PV system. Not done yet as you see in the CAD I drew for basic reference, I still need to do side wings. The I beam up on the front is for mounting the garage door to, it's just sitting there for later.
Total height 24', width 42' 10.75", depth 32' and 15' ceiling height. Upstairs will be a loft for us to live in till I build our house next, garage first so I have something to do in the winter

Excellent project, Weldman.

All of your steel there has a look to it that reminds me of a project I worked on a long time ago:

- Is that all "Cor-Ten" product that you used there, or something like it (pre-oxidized)?
