What does this Tag Really mean ?

Looks like I'm getting my first Deuce. Been hanging around here for quite a while gathering intel. My Buddies run the Military Museum in Huntsville Alabama and I got some good advice.

My question, Is there a good explanation of the Rebuild Tag as to what was actually performed ?

Here is a picture on mine.

Hopefully this come through, If not I will try another route.

In looking over the vehicle, I noticed something peculiar.
This Deuce is a documented NO Winch vehicle, however look at this pic.

One other thing I also noticed. The Air Filter indicator. Any Ideas on what's going on here ? Is it broke ? If so can it be fixed ?

One last Bit. The Engine is a Hercules with a Mfg Tag of what looks like 8-87 and talks about EPA so it's definitely not the original engine.

Big TIA for any Help !

Ok , just a different way of handling Pics. See Below :)

Every deuce I've seen has the winch warning plate winch or not. The main thing is if one is sticking out the front  .

Looks like the older syle filter indicator. Can't tell if it's broke or not from the pic. If it is they can be replaced fairly easily.

I'll bet the engine was replaced in '92 at time of overhaul.

You should get with offroadfabworks. He has a shop in Decatur. He had a truck or two for sale but I don't know if he still does.

Looks like your truck was overhauled at Letterkenny Army Depot. If you can get a copy of the TB 9-2300-390-50 that would tell you what was changed. Might be an engine change, maybe all MWO (Modification Work Orders) where done like the filter indicator, seat belts etc.

Are you talking about the lever in the middle pic that says in/ out? That is the air shift to engage the front axle on the transfer case.

Truck had to be Army since its got the Letterkenny plate. If anyone stumbles across TB 9-2300-390-50 I'd surely like to read it. The parts truck that donated power to my wrecker had the same data plate, I've got it in my data plate drawer. I can't find TB 9-2300-390-50 anywhere.

With all the new members on board, has anybody run across this TB?
