Not so bad on the nut, there was enough play on the linkage to pull it through the engine side of the firewall about 1/2'' and fit a wrench back there, once the wiper motor is unscrewed.

Your method proves much more difficult than it should be. Just loosen the M6 /10mm headed bolts on the ball socket linkage of the wiper transmission. Much easier on the installer and getting the arm back on in the small opening is sure to flare the temper. Replace the motor arm on the workbench and grease the linkage ball before reinstallation. Much easier. I always take my wiper transmission linkage out and grease and oil everything. It stops that annoying squeak when the wipers are on and the wipers work much better not to mention relieve the tension and overload on the wiper motor. Just a thought. That cowl screen area could always use a good cleaning anyway. Have a great day.

The guy at the bone yard gave me an 80's 2 tone horn out of a Cadillac for my CUCV. Just got it installed in my m1028, now I feel like Jay Leno "now THATS a horn"!

Today I took my M1009 to a local Motocross hall (yes, Indoor Offroad) and did some "light" offroading through the course... sometimes they let "Cars" on the track and I took the chance to get my CUCV dirty.

But I soon noticed thats its not there for Trucks (small ramps and stuff, had to go in reverse through some turns because the M1009 was just to big.. so I decided to go to the outdoor "track"... well there were again some ramps etc. and this lovely water hole...had to get in there over and over....

when I came home I noticed that one headlamp bulb did not survive the trip, luckily in my audi there was a package with 2 new ones from bosch..put them in and now its like I have doubled my lights....so bright

Nice Assel [thumbzup]

I am going to visit a motocross circuit tomorrow. So my chance to get my M1028 dirty.
The circuit is rented by the Dutch Dodge W200 club, Dodge Trucks Benelux. For a small fee I can ride from 11.00 till 16.00.
Eurocircuit Valkenswaard.
Edit: It is even big enough to go round with an M36a2, without reversing in corners. :tank:

Stopped by the local safelite glass peddler Friday. Left 35 minutes later with a new windshield. What a difference new glass makes.

002.jpg001.jpgI installed 8 new A C Delco 13 G glow plugs in my Mule. I had 3 that were swelled and I knew they were that way when i did the engine work. i just decided that they still worked and I would use them. They quit working on Thursday and I could not start the Mule when I left work. Magic spray at 50 degrees. Beats walking. I picked these up at the GM dealer. I was out of stock on them when I did the engine work and was over budget on that job. It is all good now. I have a block heater now also. A GM one from the dealer. Keep that genuine GM feeling with genuine GM parts. Remember that little gingle? I was Mr Goodwrench back in the day.

Can I ask if the belt is tight or throwed off?

That's what I was wondering. When I got my cucv the guy said that the windshield with the tint at the top and radio antenna was cheaper than the one with nothing.
Belt is tight , went to AutoZone had it tested and see the voltage regulator was faulting.
