I really like what that did for your truck! What lift kit did you use? Any pics from the side (90deg) to give us a real perspective? Thanks...

I installed a set of KC HiLites 851 HID Driving Lights. I built brackets out of 1/8" x 2" wide bar stock. I didn't want to drill any holes, so I sandwiched the horizontal bar between two plates. I painted the brackets with primer and ultra flat black. I used all stainless hardware. The washers in between the plates at the light are also stainless. I have discovered multiple benefits to this setup. I can move the lights closer to the center of the truck, or move them further apart. I can also pivot the the lights on the plates, and adjust them up and down from the light mount.

What's grounding the lights? I see a single wire going in for the power, but I don't see any ground.

I installed a hood insulation blanket. I bought a 4'x6' piece off of Jeg's for $36. I bought the clips off of Flea-Bay for less than $6. I used a utility knife and a pair of scissors to make holes in the blanket to attach the clips. I used A/C foil tape across the front of the hood to secure the blanket and keep water out. The blanket reduced engine noise dramatically!

Nothing much this week.
A trip to the gas station in Belgium for a fillup (67 litres), then a cruise followed by a meeting.
And today I got a broomstick and an old flag from a band I like and mounted it all in one of the slots in de bed.
Don't worry about it flying away, fastened with a bolt tru the broomstick.

Getting ready to replace terminals and cables also,going with 1/0 gauge wire and terminals from KnuKonceptz.com ,the terminals are really cool and cable super flexable. multi ports on terminals..New battery clamps and cables imagine it in your head cause for some reason I can't get a picture on here

After too long with the siren controller attached to the side, and the lighting control panel on the back of my Chevy center console, and now that the Orion radio is installed, I needed to get the cop center console installed. That would also get the wiring cleaned up as well (and there's a lot of wiring).
The radio install was no picnic but with a LOT of help from Techno it's now in and working great.

Reach over the top and yank the shifter back. Even when you go all the way to 4XLow the handle is only straight up.

I painted mine, that was easy the hard part will be figureing out how to post a pic. I'll start putting it back together in the AM. Paint is a new(er) version of Imron, just 2 coats and clean the gun, I like it!

Mainsail - The KC lights come with a complete wiring harness, relay, switch, and zip ties. The wire off of the back of the lights are inside a protective sleeve. One ground wire is on the wiring harness near the relay plug. The other ground wire is near the light switch that you mount in the cab. The installation instructions give you two options for hooking up power. You can either pull power straight off of the battery, or you can wire the lights in with the high beams. When wired to the high beams, the lights will only work when you have the high beams on. I wired mine to the high beams. I didn't use the scotch lock included in the kit. I prefer soldering connections. I found the lights very easy to install, and the instructions are great! I definitely recommend these lights.

A trooper at the ferry terminal this morning feigned interest in the truck but he really wanted to let me know that the off-road lights on the grille needed to be covered. He didn't write a ticket or anything just wanted to let me know.
On my drive down there a red SUV in front of me pulled to the side to let me pass....hmmmm that's odd. I wonder if he thought he was being a good citizen by letting me pass, only to be chagrined when he realized I was just another nobody- so he called the cops on me?
