what is this and why is it dripping fuel on turbo

Hey guys what is this Iam very new to this and dont know anything this is dripping fuel on top of the turbo and smoking and is it a fire hazzard and where do i get one to replace

That's the flame heater for cold weather starting. A very problematic component, so I am told.

Just disconnect the dam thing and be done with it. Not likely you'll ever need it in SC anyways. It was already done to my truck when I took delivery of it.

If you want, you can get a new replacement from White Owl. DO NOT use a replacement with a hexagonal body.

It is for the very early flame heater systems with electric solenoids to control fuel.

Ditto!
Memphis Equipment sent me one and its a straight nozzle, no valve so it will spray constantly. Make sure it looks like the one you removed.
