(Long time lurker, first post. Hope this is the right spot.)

What is this truck? Is this a CUCV 2 or is it not military at all?

Sorry no live auction posts are allowed due to TOS regulations. You might want to remove it before others start jumping on you for it.

As for the truck, yes its military but used only on the stateside bases. In fact you will very rarely ever see someone in uniform ever drive one, mostly civies drive them.
We used to steal them from the PX loading area and repark them at the officers club getting the pricks at the PX in trouble. Dont ever piss off a Marine. We retaliate. lol

Welcome, I will answer your question but read the site rules about posting current for sale & auction listings.

That is not a CUCV II or LSSV, it is just a Chevy truck used by the military with slight modifications. If it is not a diesel 4X4 with 24v electric, then it is not a CUCV II/III or known as the LSSV. That may have been used by the Boarder Patrol or other agency like them and not the US Military.

First off, welcome to SteelSoldiers. Always nice to see some new members join in on the OD madness. :)

As far as the item that initiated your question the best way to do it is to copy the pics from the auction and post the pictures themselves to the same thread with your question. This way you leave out any references to the item being something that may be a current auction. It's also a good practice to copy pics from any closed eBay or GL auctions instead of just giving a link to the closed auction since the pics will be removed after a while. If you post the pictures from the auction they will be saved here so when they get removed from the auction site it won't be a problem.
