Been troubleshooting a start issue. Found the TS bad (CR2696 yellow band). Suspect this box may be an issue too. It was mounted under a hole in the inner fender. Looks like the hole in box was patched. Found a small spot on the inside corner where fluid or liquid has etched away the paint and rusted a bit. The switch/solenoid appears cloudy on the outside too. Have not pulled the board to check the other side. Going to check the terminals in the cannon plugs tomorrow.
Got a glow plug/brake light function as normal. But wont kick the solenoid. Ive checked the rotary switch, power into and out. The neutral switch does not have continuity in the neutral position. Cleaned all starter connections. Good voltage at starter. Cleaned the shunt, good continuity. Red tops are good. Cables and connections check out.
Can anybody speak to the box?
