Hi sorry another question

At the moment I use a black nylon type rope for my canvas, can a bungee rope be used, is it any good for canvas or is there a good alternative that pulls through freely.

If you want the "real deal" bungee cord, GMA sells it. It's called Super Rope.

What was used to tie down Canvas on a 1969 Deuce when it was issued ? Hemp rope, or that Black synthetic rope ? Heck, I was in from 1972/75 and I cant remember what was on ours. Would both be correct? Just was wondering when they stopped using the regular rope,(hemp or what ever its called)
