Check out the right rear wheel in the pic.
Now I'm pretty familiar with the M880 series of trucks, and know it is not original issue.
This wheel is very interesting to me. (read as I want a set of them!!)

Pretty sure it is not a reversed Humvee wheel.
What about the M101A3? They were set up for humvee tires, yet I had assumed the wheels were typical Humvee and the A3 trailer had offset hubs to fit the wheels.

Looks like a Peacekeeper wheel.
Thanks for the hot tip! I forgot about the Ranger

Current peacekeepers have 17.5 inch wheels so I doubt this has those.
The Cadillac Gage Ranger (called peacekeeper by the Air Force) of the early 80's.
Likely could be the source.

being a late 70's early 80's design I think they would be 16.5 inch wheels.
I am hoping as this would be a great way to use humvee tires on the M880 / M1008 series trucks. If the wheels can be found.

Yep the biggest hurdel would be finding those wheels. But you should be able to mount HMMWV Tires if they are the Radial type right to the M880 rim with no issues. Not the biasply ones as those require a tube, but the Radials would work fine....In fact if I remember from last spring when I picked up those axles from you that you had a set of hmmwv tire on 880 rims did you not?

Hmmwv rims are 16.5 x 8 is that not the size of M880 rims? I picked up a set of dodge rims at the junk yard to put on those axles and they are 16.5 x8.
