On the M35A2, the wheel bolt holes are chamfered. Are the wheels considered stud piloted or hub piloted wheels? I thought they were hub piloted, but in hub pilot systems, there is no chamfer on the bolt holes - at least on modern wheels.

They seem to be stud piloted because there is to much wiggle room between the hub and inner bore of the wheel. If you have ever worked on hub centric wheels you know right away that they are because of how tight they fit.

Stud pilot. Notice on your budd wheels the chamfer is on both sides. That makes them work for back or front, while on the A3 only one side has the chamfer. Thus when the A3 wheel is used on the rear in "reversed" (dish out like 5 ton), they have to be chamfered on the other side. If you go custom, be sure to consider front and rear "dish" or just have both sides chamfered.
