Wheel Spacer Options?

I know I'm setting myself up for an ambush here, but has anyone used wheel spacers on the HMMWV? I want a wider stance but I love the smooth sidewalls of the original tires, so I ordered new refurb wheels and original tires. Problem is, I want the slight offset that the black rhinos give (I have them on my H3), however there are NO SMOOTH WALL MUD TIRES on the market except for the Mudstar (which I put on the H3) and they don't make them in 37. Sorry, but sidewall tread immediately takes away the military look in my opinion.

So, my solution is to install the new OEM wheel/tire package with a 1.5" or 2" spacer.

Any thoughts? Be easy on me.

Flee bay has them, can't be worse than the guys running wheels with zero or negative offset
But it's your call, more bolts, more problem, I would prefer a new wheel set, ask Santa, Christmas is around the corner...
