Does anyone know what this wheel came from? Both wheels were laying in the back of the truck (M715) when I got it from the surplus auction. The one on the right looks stock but the one on the left, the lug holes have every other hole cupped the other direction. Both wheels have the same company name stamped into the backside or them. "Precision". The different holes has me wondering.

Were they for hillbilly duals on your 715? Just a guess, I have seen FD's do very strange things to former military trucks!!

It says motor wheel on it, but why the different chamfers? I thought maybe it was for duals but the dish doesnt stick out far enough. The rims would be touching.

This is just a theory: That wheel (weel ) bolt pattern was usually used on dually trucks of the day. Motor Wheel just relocated the center dish on the rim to make the 715 wheel, and the centering chamfers were not deleted.
