OK Folks, If you have a Studebaker deuce, can you post up and if possible include a pic and partial VIN? I've turned into the Stude Dude and would like to see how many are out there amongst us. My M59 VIN is M32558 and the M108 is M30708. I'll attach a couple of pics.

Several years ago Maccus and I both saw an M34A2 go through GL somewhere out West. It was an original Studebaker, and looked like it had been the motor pool Sgt.s toy. It had a turbo multifuel, the original single wheels, radials I think, and a hardtop if I remember correctly. It was really nice! At the time I did not know what a rare bird it was.

Mine seems to have the orig plate, they just x'ed out the orig #'s and re-stamped new ones. It was a pain in the butt to reg because the DMV inspector thought I did the re-stamping

About twenty two years ago I bid on a Studebaker 6x6 with new single tires on it on Malmstrom AFB in Montana. My $1,000 bid obviously wasn't enough as someone else got it. I was there visiting my sister and brother in law, I guess they said it had some fuel issues, but I didn't care. Would have been really interesting if I won it as I live 1,500 miles from there. I was only 19 at the time, only had to wait another 19 years to finally get one.

I took the pictures the same day i bought it, i lost other, more recent pictures when my harddrive crashed, so that is all for now.
I am planning to return the truck to the original configuration, and already found most parts, marker & tail lights, horizontal exhaust, small mirrors, wrecker set #7.
Now it is time to do some research.
