Where to get LED lights???

Does anyone know where to get LED lights for a deuce (taillights) and if so are they fair priced? I saw a set on a military trailer this weekend being delivered in GA and they looked great!

PM panzerwillie, He bought a set for a trailer a while back. No wiring neccesary, plugged right into original wiring.

"Fair priced" is the kicker. You can order the Trucklite brand through NAPA but they are very pricey. I Priced them one time, don't remember the price but I do remember hitting the floor when they told me.

I'm not sure where he got them. He had no bruises or lacerations from hitting the floor when he showed up with them, so I don't think they were that expensive.

The NAPA price I got wasn't that high. Like I said above, I don't remember exactly what they priced them at but it was more in the $100 a piece range. Which is still awfully high for a darned light.

a less expensive route is to just swap out your bulbs from somewhere like here; a lot of 12V stuff, but plenty of options in 24V to make it happen.

Eriks Surplus is the cheapest new I think. I believe it was Taylor Trading that had a used set at the GA rally for sale.

Rondo Enterprises on EBay has them for $69 ea with free shipping if you buy 2. I got a pair and they are spectacular.

The ones from Rondo are the new old stock ones that are not LED. They have regular bulbs like 99% of the trucks out there. I have not seen LEDs for less than about $130. I am looking at getting some for my M146 trailer. so it would be nice to get some cheaper ones.

I did a search or found a link here about a year and half ago and found a suppler of LED bulbs(probably one of those on this thread). I've seen the the LED lights purposely designed and they are really awsome, but I'll try the bulbs first as I would like to make it look the same externally
