I recently got a winch put on my truck that I got from SS member tie6044. I tried to figure out which version of PTO I have, but a couple of the options look very similar. I hope some of the experts here can tell from my pictures below which model of PTO I have. I'm more curious than anything; everything is working great.

Here is a PDF attachment that is a couple of pages extracted from TM 9-2520-246-34-1. It shows the three different types of PTOs.

Here are a couple of pictures I took from my phone. I know; I am missing one of my PTO boots and the other is in really bad shape. Ted from Real Custom Trucks just sent me a couple of new ones, and I haven't gotten them replaced yet.

So what do you think - which PTO version do I have?

Also notice the manual has the two versions labeled wrong. I saw this several years ago and kinda laughed. The old Chelsea PTO manuals use the same model designations, but they label their drawings correctly.

You do have the WN 7 28.

John is 100% correct. I've never noticed that mistake. I've edited my above post to reflect it.

You are also missing a boot to for the shift shaft and I see the other one is ripped. It might be worth replacing them and the seals if you can.
