I am a big "turbo whistle" fan... I got a 2000 F-250 diesel that screams, so I shouldnt have too much of a problem with a whistler
lol same here i have a 2000 7.3L straight piped. Im looking for a C to swap my D out. Kublos wants $650 for a brand new one. Im not sure what i want to go with new or old. . . has anyone every rebuilt a whistler turbo? parts available? Thanks Kyle

• Do not post items ..........................

I think that posters question would be allowable. Although it probably is a classified ad in disguise, it is a reasonable forum topic/question to ask where to find an item.

This is the difficulty in having a steadfast rule.... some actions straddle the middle line.

Your within $50(ish) of a new one at those prices. What you have to understand is, rebuilders can "tweak" the turbo so it flows better than stock.

Your best bet is to speak to a re-builder. Pretty sure they will know how much is too much. The ones on our forum, anyway.
