Gilbert Parade was nice again this year. I've been doing dashcams of it since 2014. Because each three minute video is so large (170 MB and larger) I will not be posting and complete set, which consists of 11 or 12 (12 this year) from each camera. This one is from the driver's side as I turned right onto Peach Festival Road and started up the hill.

Update to post # 8 (Carnation, WA 4th of July Parade).

Here's some photos of the vehicles lined up for the parade. There was a CUCV w/trailer (M101A1), a Mule with an M60 (non-functioning), a M37 and a M42 Radio Command Truck. No Deuces or bigger stuff, but more vehicles than usual. There was a HUGE crowd and the under 12 year olds must have out numbered the adults by 10 or 15 to 1. Absolutely great crowd!

Sorry there are only pictures of vehicles before the parade. I was driving and my wife was the NCOIC responsible for waving to the crowd. No one in the crowd to take photos for us.

These photos were correct in my folder, but when up loaded they rotated and I don't know how to correct them.

Sorry!

My son is in the Air Force and always gives me a hard time for having the flag on the left side of the truck. This year I remembered to put it on the right. Now I know why it was always on the left before this year. Exhaust darkened the flag. Some of it washed out. Can't put the flag higher cause of tree limbs.

We provided our truck to the Huntington Beach, CA, American Legion Post 133 to ride some of its member Veterans in the 114th Annual Huntington Beach 4th of July Parade.
