The windshield frame is supposed to fold over flat, sorta like the Jeeps. Right?<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_big.gif" alt="Big Smile">
I cant get mine to lay over, must be froze up. I loosen the big wing nut and loosen the big hex nut on the shaft where it hinges. Is that all you are supposed to do to get it to lay down? If so it must be siezed up, I got it soaking with liquid wrench, after I chipped 30 years of paint off it. <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_help.gif" alt="Help">

Check to make sure that the pencil sized air hose that goes to the wipers is not too short! <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_idea.gif" alt="Idea">

On most trucks it IS too short, and has to be removed before you can lay the windshield flat! <img src="emoticons/icon_smile_nono.gif" alt="No-no"><img src="speech/icon_speech_oops.gif" border="0">

Yeah, I don't thinnk I've seen one yet that folds forward very easily...and then ya almost need a port-a-power to get it back upright!

Guys;
Mine went down and up just like it was new from the factory. I guess it's all in who used the truck..... Or maybe it's in who lowers and raises the windshield<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_wink.gif" alt="Wink">!

Our sponser did have that outer windshield frame,and she is own her way to my Deuce. I'v been checking all of the sources for MV parts,and I would have to say Saturn is the best priced one I found so far, and I have checked a lot of them.<img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin"><img src="emoticons/icon_smile_jumpin.gif" alt="Jumpin">
