My wipers work great. Air switch works great. What do you guys reconmend doing to them to keep them working good. Any maintenance or lube needed?

Be careful here, the air wiper motors have a red colored grease on the sliding clyinder that has the rack gear built on it which drives a pinion type gear that turns the wiper arm back and forth. I put a little air tool oil in the wipers on my M50A2 water tanker right after I bought it and the wipers never worked again. I bought 2 new plastic ones and have never tried to lubricate any of them again. When I get a truck with troublesome wipers, I take them off, take them apart, clean them and re coat the cylinder with some of the red grease that I saved off the edges of the cylinder when I took it apart. I seem to be able to make them all work again. JT out

If they work great, leave 'em be! Work on them when they fail or slow down.

I replaced mine with the same kind.
Plastic.
The ones on my truck were old, and I got two more off a junk truck. Much newer, and work great.

I do however recomend a wiper arm upgrade kit from Saturn Surplus. The arms are spring loaded and allows you to replace the wiper blade with real aftermarket wiper blades like those from Anco.

My passenger side wiper is hecka slow compared to the driver's side wiper. I don't think the wipers were used much since the truck was mainly used in the desert. Should I try to lube the passenger wiper motor, or blast compressed air through the line? Maybe it's partially clogged...
