It was a deuce.....the 5 ton just had a smidge of thinner in it from the fuel can I used to transfer "Deuce Juice".

To all concerned......I am considering hosting an "Alternative Fuel Event" in March to showcase woodgas and other fuel options should we have an interruption of the fossil fuel supply. If I can get enough folks interested I'd like to have someone with a deuce running on WMO/WVO etc. I'll post more when I get some feedback from Wayne and some of the other woodgas guys around here.

The show was The Colony. It was on for two seasons.

Loved that show, and while they had a gasifier, Doomsday Preppers pilot episode had a guy with a gasifier in the back of his pickup, which he could also attach to the generator when needed. That's the show I was referencing...

**** I'll drive my 2004 Dodge 2500 that gets 33mpg hwy on WVO and other fuels, and is bare bones stock.

the big issue with woodgas, is tars and impurities in the 'gas' literally gumming up a standard IC engine.

That is Engineer775 on YouTube. He has some videos up on the work he has done with wood gasifiers.
