M936's still have a strong presence in the National Guard as the new FMTV Wrecker has not been well received and the M984's still hold the title of the "Wrecker that OSHKOSH Built with God's Approval" according to quite a few maintenance CWO that I'm friends with. M936's are a close second and the FMTV Wrecker is a distant third. Most M936's that do get turned in likely have issues that funding won't cover or the unit gets an FMTV Wrecker forced on them and they have to turn a M936 in. That's what happened with mine. It'll be in the GL pipeline soon and it will truely be mine once it is.

Here's the VMPA's M543A2 wrecker 'Miss Virgin ia' after I finally replaced a few front bearings. I actually hit 56MPH on a 3 mile straight flat stretch on the way home from the show, woo hoo!.
