Does anyone have one for sale or know where I can find one? What can I expect to pay?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Everything John said I agree with, except the opening of the window part. I haven't tried to open the windows on the 2 trucks we have that have the electric wipers, so I can't comment on that.I have a set on my M109A3 that will be going to Oregon with me this summer, They went on well, the wiper motor is quiet and powerful, the arms are VERY heavy duty and they take commercial bolt on blades from any truck shop or Napa store. The effective pressure against the windshield is much higher than stock ait wipers and should clear the glass well. I am going to install the windshield washer kit I bought 4 years ago, I know it will do some good now that I can clear the glass. The winshield will now only open about 3 inches for ventilation, but that's always been about where I set it on a hot day. Anymore and my old eyes need goggles or I can't see through the tears. JT
Obviously I can't speak for Bruce, but the air powered wipers are bad about seizing up and not working right.Just Curious?
Why do you want to replace the air wipers with electric ones? What is the advantage?
When my driver side wiper went bad I got a new one (air) from CSI at a reasonable price; changed it out in about 15 minutes; it works great...
