Glad you put glasses on that girl - she scares me everytime you comment.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

Hmmm....Possible P.R. stunt?I would think one of these could tow it without any problems. Get with a local dealer, and maybe he would loan a operator and tractor out for advertising. They like to show off their goods.

I can see it now.
"Stop on in here at Ruston Case Tractor supply! With ample power to tow this M-60 U.S. Army tank, there isn't much our tractors can't pull!!"
(Giant oversized vehicular traffic obstructions fill screen, all of us
in the background with banners that read,
"Steel Soldiers.com, OD Iron Rulez!")
Frodo, when I saw the watermelon girl avatar, I thought "there's another guy who found a freakish avatar like frodo." Then I saw it was your avatar. Where do you come up with this stuff???
Actually the solid rubber tracks are the older type. The new one is the replaceable pad type. Just look at current issue M1A1's and the M60A3's. All of them have the replaceable pad tracks. The tracks are not hard on the asphault (unless its very thin) unless you start neutral steering them. We drive on asphalt quite a bit with the '60 and don't tear it up. In November I replaced all of the pads on one of the A3's and before that it was a little bit harder on the asphalt due to the metal being run on it.This one also looks like it has the older replaceable style track pads. They tend to mess up the road a bit more then solid rubber track. I would wait for it to get cold before taking it down a normal road.
Also, it is sitting behind a NAPA- let me say that again, NAPA. I could fix anything if it was sitting right next to a NAPA.
We get it, advertisements are annoying!
