Hi Bjorn,Removed the front tires today and checked the steering with the axles on blocks. Worked okay, but still very hard to turn the steering wheel. Must be the power steering cylinder resisting. Lots of places to lube, maybe that will help some.
(Haven't started the engine again since the fuel system is not yet complete.)

I am trying to figure out how is the steering done on your truck. If I am not mistaken, there is a steering box above the center of the front tandem. The pitman arm is connected to two drag links, one for the each axle. Correct?
Thank you Bjorn for the drawings. I am trying to figure out how to build double steering on Deuce. It seems like if I connect the gear box directly to the idler arm on the picture (which would become pitman arm), it wouldn't affect the function of the steering at all, right?
