Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Most people here have collector insurance, it can prove difficult to get anything else. Those who have regular policies, I now believe, that if they ever needed it they would find they have been paying for just a card and the coverage would drop.
Historic? Restrictions?
Who is your agent? I want to talk to them to get mine insured with commercial coverage. The Lizard (Geico) Covered my truck with a commercial policy. $679 a year. And yes they know it's a super awesome army truck!
Did you tell them what it weights? I may have to look into that.Country insurance, listed as a utility/flatbed, no restrictions. Liability $240/yr. I live in Oregon.
Yep, my agent was familiar with these trucks. I also tried Progressive and Geico just to compare rates, but they both gave me the run around on the phone.Did you tell them what it weights? I may have to look into that.
