I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can get new ring and pinion gears for the M920. I would like for the truck to achieve 70-75MPH and get rid of the 6-17 ratio.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
The rears on the M915 are different than the M916 and up.Would not M915 rears swap in?
If so I would love to snag an A/C system out of an M915 to put in my M916 and maybe buy one and
part it. They come up near me a lot, I can not swing the full rice myself.
Keep me in mind.
With yours running that speed, it is bouncing off of the governor? I'd like to get it where I can run about 17-1800 rpm at 68-70mph if at all possible.why not put 1600s on it ? mine does about 74-75 mph with them on.
Do you mind me asking where at they are over the counter? I have not thought about checking the parts store locally but if you know which place you got them from I will be in there tomorrow checking with them. If you don't mind sharing what was the cost of the parts?I just put a ring and pinion in my M916. Everything was standard over the counter parts, my buddy who did the rear told me afterwards I could have gotten different ratios.
I believe 75 is just a bit ABOVE the speed rating of the tires.why not put 1600s on it ? mine does about 74-75 mph with them on.
