I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can get new ring and pinion gears for the M920. I would like for the truck to achieve 70-75MPH and get rid of the 6-17 ratio.

Would not M915 rears swap in?

If so I would love to snag an A/C system out of an M915 to put in my M916 and maybe buy one and
part it. They come up near me a lot, I can not swing the full rice myself.

Keep me in mind.

The rears on the M915 are different than the M916 and up.

Unless I have been under a rock I have not seen this masked man for some time here!

Now we just need to get the elusive Mr. SONI to break his silence and I bet if
he does it will be in a BIG WAY w/ a 1070 tweek or three! (Rumor has it it
made off w/ FOUR 1070's in the recent past, ya suppose he is making a 1070
Caterpillar ? ;-) Eldgen too!

Glad to se you back Mr. R_Racing ! ! !

I just put a ring and pinion in my M916. Everything was standard over the counter parts, my buddy who did the rear told me afterwards I could have gotten different ratios.

Do you mind me asking where at they are over the counter? I have not thought about checking the parts store locally but if you know which place you got them from I will be in there tomorrow checking with them. If you don't mind sharing what was the cost of the parts?

R Racing, I appreciate your input on the speed and RPM. That sounds exactly where I would want to be with both rpm and speed. Now to see which avenue is cheaper, tires or gears.

It was either Transaxle or Truck parts specialists. They are the 2 we use. I didnt look at the bill...I was annoyed enough at that point.
