This first installment is a mod that even purists can go for.
On Page 500-56 of the TM, we have a conflict with some of the older units. But one I like! Originally, under the grill area, there were three bays. Individually they don't store much. In the newer manuals they have instructions to store the griddle splash guard there, the poles for extending the screens on hot days, and even the lights..... but alas the older models have baffles that break this large space (about 64 inches long) into roughly THREE 21 inch sections. Pitmaster T cuts out the baffles and now he can store those items out of the way. WHICH gets the highest dollar item, the lights, out of harms way and away from a prowler's eyes.
