Its a MB4 air craft tug. Four wheel steering planetary ZF axles. So it did not start as a cucv but is similar.Interesting rig.
So it started life as a cucv? Or what?
That's thing is awesome. Its a MB4 air craft tug. Four wheel steering planetary ZF axles. So it did not start as a cucv but is similar.
It has the original 6.2. You could probably power it using a cordless drill, it has ridiculous gear reduction. It will do 20 mph or so. All of the research claimed the transfer case was in low range and was limited by sheet metal in the floor. So I figured I'll rework the shifter and get two times the speed. The internet lied, the trucks are in high range. I did redo the shifter and it does 10... It's a M105 BlythewoodJoe had I just finished cutting it up.Sharp rig! 6bt? 30mph wfo? Can't wait to see it in action. M101 bed cut down?
It's a 6.2 with a th400 and a np208So what is the power train in this thing?
You can get it! It will most likely be for sale after the Ga rally in October.I kinda want that thang.
The front bumper they usually have on them is HUGE. They are fun to drive sideways and crab around.[/QUOTE
Yes they are.
Oh yeah we just have to figure out how to get in it... I did have to take the long bed fuel tank off. I replaced it with a short bed tank, it works with the larger tires and doesn't have a hole in it.Would make a wonderful staff car at the GA Rally. Thing is too cool.
