Flashers Do Not Work (Unless)

Midwest. I have since purchased an OE from Hummer Parts Guy. Head lights, stop lights, running lights, high beam, low beam all work as normal. When switch arm is in turning position, indicator bulb turns bright and stays bright until lever is moved out of position. No flashing.

I am not sure what you mean I was talking about the neg lead of the meter when he is looking at the dimmer switch.

24 volts at 17 and 18 so switch is working. Must be bad high beams. They were the cheap version. Low beam works but they get a lot of condensation and on low they aren’t that bright

OK but you need to confirm that 24V is getting to the light sockets on the correct terminals, you also need to confirm the ground lead to the light sockets as well, there has been allot of issues with the cheap LED headlights, some have to go through several sets to get some that work.

Okay! Got the headlights working. Although they have some condensation, they do work.
Lesson learned, I watched a couple videos showing the wiring to the headlights, well, it was wrong for my application. So after checking the voltage on the dimmer switch and nearly placing and order for new lights, I decided to test each light using a battery. Should have started there but got it in my head that I had to wire the Llghts (adapter) like shown on the video.
Also checked my original turn indicator bulb and it works too. Just doesn’t work in the indicator socket on the turn signal. When installed it does not light up and is now causing the turn signals not flash. That will be my next project. Maybe a led bulb will work??

When you tested the turn signal indicator lamp did you use reverse polarity? the pos goes to the lamp body and the neg goes to the contact point.

I tested it and doesn’t look like I’m getting any power here. Will double check tomorrow.
