I got two lists ... 1) Maintenance and Repairs and 2) Modifications.

When the current semester ends I hope to knock a big hole in each of them.

My modifications

1.GET A PYROMETER!!!
2.Engine pre-luber.
3.Install remote brake fluid reservoir using M105 Trailer Master Cyl.
4.Build center console from passenger seat frame
5.Mount the big ol’ tool box I bought from Angus
6.Mount Map Light.
7.Canvas bikini top (shelter halfs or old top)
8.Mount driving lamps and back up lamp (need 24 volt Quartz Halogen bulbs)
9.Mount 2 Jerry can holders on mud flaps
10.Plug all holes and seams holes in floor to reduce noise. Make “brush type” gasket for hi/lo shifter, Multi-piece shield around floor shift hole.
11.Muffler
12.Locks for fuel shut-off and electricity
13.Bed Crane/hoist
14.Electric Radiator Fan
15.Mount a step so the wife can climb up in the cab. I got this truck in February and the wife ain't even SAT in it yet.

The first two items are the highest priority.

My list is short and to many to list
I feel just build it with every thing you need and enjoy it and keep addons in the list to do
and man it is a long list.

1. Lockouts
2. Lockers
3. in cab communications
4. Led lights, all around

7. Receiver hitch.
8. Water storage.

10. Camper.

DONE: #7, #6 above bed, #4 rear lights, front head lights are h4's (very good, I would recommend them. #1 "poor mans lockouts" have the parts haven't done the mod yet, seems like too much hassle to switch from “locked to unlocked”

My best (and most fun) modification has to be my roof-chain-pull-remote-valve-horn, thingey.... It allows you to run large horn(s) under your hood (seperate from the good ol' stock horn) and mount a valve with a remote cable leading to your top. PULL THE CHAIN! just like the big rigs, very loud too.

Allows you to remove the top when desired without having to disconnect your horn.
Keeps the maximum ammount of pressure as close to your under-hood horn as possible.
Does not effect stock horn.
Super fun!
[thumbzup]

I did a thread with a writeup of the install.

I had a really good list till I read these posts.... now the list is more like.

1. Stripper from chicago. Replaces heater I had on the list, same effect.
2. Ice machine- in case I show up where MadDawg is, gotta keep the beer cold
3. Blackout windows- see number 1.
4. Brighter headlights- see number 3
5. Remove muffler- what's the point? I'm not listening anymore.
6. Remove horn. Really? who misses seeing me? who CAN'T hear me already?- see number 5
7. remove rifle rack, add gun safe to shop area
8. Bumperette mounted BBQ. Yes, it's a BBBQ
9. Propane tank- runs BBBQ and can be used to shoot flames out of previously used muffler.
10. Lastly- Couch. I'm going to need someplace to sleep after this list.

;-)

If I ever buy another cargo truck the first thing I am going to do is drill a 1/2" hole in the bottom of all the stake holes. They just don't drain well enough. I had one that must have filled with water, freeze and expand. That took a little while to get out and left a nice scar.
