Stop calling me Shirley.I just want to tell you good luck. We're all counting on you.
Yah, I have got AAA and two others (don't ask). Have never used any and I hope against hope I never need to.double check with your towing insurance,AAA wouldn't cover my gmc topkick, but my car insurance would
Well. I made it! The Deuce could not have run better. Smooth as silk.
LOL and I tried taking that shot several times. I wonder what shakes more, the truck or me.I like the blurry "action shot" of the gauges!
Glad you made it!
Rick
TY!Congrats on a successful "convoy".
I'm spoiled now - I expect things to go as smoothly every time!Glad you had no trouble and enjoyed the ride!
Pop the top on your favorite frosty adult beverage, 10 MPG in a Deuce, that's worth celebrating! Of course someone else will do better, but that's OK.Looks like I got right at 10 mpg on straight freeway running at 55 mph with hills. Should I be happy or sad?
Have you corrected the odometer for the different tires. Would make a difference in calculating the MPG.My Deuce has 11.00x20 tires so the revs are a bit lower.
Good point; I don't know if it has been done. Someone added 11.00 x 20 singles before I got it. I also don't know if the PO added a fudge factor when he calculated his 14 mpg (but I doubt it).Have you corrected the odometer for the different tires. Would make a difference in calculating the MPG.
