lol...if it makes you feel better it had sat in the bushes for the last 3 years....and for the 7 years prior to that it was used as a logging spot truck. Plan to put fresh paint and bed on her within the next month
Bear I'm sorry that saddens you but I only have trimmed the fenders. Everything else is stock and original. People scrap and parts these trucks out so I don't think I've done wrong by keeping her going.
Purchased a M-52A2 last week and bobbed it. Put 65" rice/canes on the rear and regular R-1's on the front. Plan to get some 1600's so I can street it. Also plan to put a shortened cargo bed on her.
My generator is putting out 32 volts and with this contraption attached i have no way to adjust the voltage.....yes I'm keeping my ignition switch off to keep from frying my batteries and whatnot.
What are my options?
Is this a civilian or military mod? It's a 60 amp generator which is a upgrade for my M-52A2. The 25amp 28volts regulator on the firewall has been bypassed.
I agree Ron about tearing up my tcase, I rarely shift to 4wd and am very cautious as to what gear I'm in when I do...as far as staying locked in....as long as the 3-way valve vents both ports when blocked(2wd) you are good to go.

I know you just spent money on a new poppet but why not just install a 3-way so you could have gotten a 2wd option. I was having multiple issues...plugged supply air to poppet, fixed that, then leaking air from the exhaust, removed poppet and flipped over the rubber diaphrams and got my front...
Just purchased a M-52a2. Runs sweet but front wheels will not pull when needed. Air pressure is 85-105 from dash gauge. I pulled the front drive shaft and the cylinder seems to be engaging as it should but just will not spin the front tires when....say pushing on a tree. While i had the shaft...
