What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The M929A2 is a working truck at my friends ranch and the M925A1 belongs to my boss.

    Question about radiator?

I would guess those are an engine oil cooler. But as an oil cooler it would work fine for engine oil or as a trans cooler.

    Joint Light Tactical Vehicle. PICTURES

Oh, and the 6.6 duramax itself explains drip pans. It is a Isuzu design that has been worked over by GM.

The suspension is probably NOT self leveling but more of a height control. The lowriders will love it. LOL

Sway solution for M1070 that was converted to haul not pull

A simple thing I have come across before is tire pressures. You may want to run them closer to or maybe at the max listed on the tires.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Didn't think of that. Three of these trucks are used at low speeds on a mountain ranch so really won't need that, but there are two that will be on the highway at speed from time to time so that is a good idea for those.

Fan always spins, not the shutterstat?

Is your truck getting hot? Go for a good drive and if you hear the fan engage and the engine temp stays in a normal range I don't think I would worry about it.

Anyone put cruise control in their trucks?

On my M923 w/dual 11.00s with throttle lock all the way out it only does 55mph, so that is my C/C as everyone is passing me anyway.

M939 series radiator tank torque spec.

Wow, nobody has this info? I must ask some tough questions as this isn't the first time I have asked for info and received "0" response. Surely someone knows the answer. I guess my next step is to contact the contractor that built the radiators.

M939 series radiator tank torque spec.

I have looked in the TM and can only find information for changing the radiator as an assy. I have a truck that is leaking at the gasket for the left tank. I have new gaskets but need a torque specification for the 40 nuts/bolts that mounts it. The TMs don't show anything for that as that is not...

Need Advice after high water rescue M939

3poffroad, you rock. And all of you who will send him parts, you also rock. This is exactly what it mean to be a "Selfless American." Keep it up all of you and thank you all for services rendered and asking for nothing in return. There are a lot of people that can learn from all of you.

My boss left one of our wreckers running one day and I found it running a 2:30am when I towed in an impounded car. It happens.
