LED headlight gripe of the day

I sent a replacement headlight to the customer and he said it fixed the issue. In his case, it must of been the light itself.

    New injection pump,still no start!

You are correct. The 6.2 and 6.5 pump will be lined up correctly in the cam gear. I've done 6 on the HMMWV's and around 8 on the CUCV's.(and 3 on my CUCV-II's) I know what "Gayfang" is saying....I've installed a pump on a 60KW and 30 KW generator and they were 180 out. Had to take it back off...

    New injection pump,still no start!

Questions: What was wrong with the old pump that you thought you had to change it? Was the engine running before and how was it running before you changed the pump? Why did you have to change the top of the pump with a part from the old pump? Just seeing if I'm missing something.

    2000 CUCV-II Crew Cab,(The Twin) Florida repair.

The manifold went back on easier than I thought it would. After a road test today to the gas station, I saw a fuel leak. Base of the fuel filter canister. The fuel hose's were dripping fuel. Trimmed the rubber hose a little and put new clamps on...no leaks now. Just got back from Miami...

    2000 CUCV-II Crew Cab,(The Twin) Florida repair.

Installed the new oil pressure sensor and put everything back together. Let the system cycle a few times( heat the glow plugs/electric fuel pump) Took about 20 seconds turning over the engine to get it started. Runs like a new truck now. :driver:

Got the new pump mounted in place. Just need to hookup the injector lines and wiring harness. I think I'll wait until morning to finish. Sweating like a pig in this heat.

    2000 CUCV-II Crew Cab,(The Twin) Florida repair.

Pictures. South Florida heat took a toll on me today. Had to put up a shade tent to block the sun. I got the pump out....took just over 3 hour to do. Now the hard part of putting the new one back in.

Possible road trip to Tennessee, Won M4KN 4K Forklift

Thanks, Truck is happy now with the new tires on the back. Going to have to replace the front also. Forklift tires are like new. Only main problem with the forklift is the forward and reverse cable is almost broke into. The city in TN said Case doesn't carry that item anymore and is the main...

Possible road trip to Tennessee, Won M4KN 4K Forklift

I had the forklift sitting back over the trailer axles when I started. Had to make a sharp U-turn in a small parking lot. That is were I think I may of damage the sidewall of the rear tire. I moved the forklift forward to take the weight off the trailer tires(I know, I should of had a spare)...

Possible road trip to Tennessee, Won M4KN 4K Forklift

Back in the early 90's, we had a Military unit in Miami that towed an M4K behind a M1028 CUCV on the turnpike. They went a little to fast and the flipped the forklift. We had to replace the hole front lift carriage and fenders on that one. It was a great forklift. Took it to Iraq and back in...

Possible road trip to Tennessee, Won M4KN 4K Forklift

Made it home. All went well. I drove at about 60-63mph. I sure do miss the AC. lol. The tires on the dually were the original tires that came with the truck when I bought it years ago. They looked good, so I took a chance. It was a last min thing taking this truck. Plans were to take the...
